CT HCC Medical Response and Surge Exercise 2026

Due to ongoing response activities associated with Winter Storm Hernando, adjustments have been made to the 2026 CT HCC MRSE scheduled for February 25, 2026. The exercise will proceed; however, there will be no live facilitation. Instead, the exercise will be conducted in a true functional, inject-driven format. All exercise actions will be initiated through email injects distributed by the Coalition.

Participants will have up to 48 hours to complete required exercise actions, surveys, and participant workbooks. This flexible timeline is intended to accommodate ongoing operational demands while still allowing organizations to meet exercise objectives. Participants are encouraged to work collaboratively with their internal teams from a single designated location to support coordinated discussion and decision-making.

Please note that participation in this exercise will continue to meet applicable regulatory and accreditation exercise requirements. The structure and documentation components have been maintained to ensure alignment with federal preparedness program expectations and healthcare accreditation standards.
